  • The operating cycle of this machine is completely automatic and the use of continuous motion principle permits high speed and efficient packaging production

Operation Sequence :
  • Fillpack - 150 - 240 is mainly used to form, fill and seal pharmaceutical products like tablets, capsules, dragees etc. in blister pack
  • In operation, PVC base film web is drawn off from a reel and fed into the blister forming unit where blisters are continuously formed. The web is then led to the sealing unit over a guide track
  • Over the guide track, the product is filled into the blisters by suitable automatic filling unit before the web enters the sealing unit
  • Aluminium foil is drawn off from a separate reel and is fed to the sealing unit where it is sealed with the base web, thus enclosing the product hermetically
  • The filled and sealed web is then fed by an indexing mechanism into the pack punch unit where the packs are separated from the web. The web trim is sheared off to allow collection. The blister pack may either be collected in bins or may be conveyed over a belt for further handling. The machine could be linked to a cartoner

Thermoforming Machine Operation :
  1. Principle of Operation :
    • Thermoforming of the base web
    • Filling the product
    • Sealing the top web to the base film
    • Cutting to finished shape
    • Discharge of finishes packs
  2. Construction :
    • The chassis of the machine is made of anodized dural, the panels are produced in mild steel and all mechanical parts are treated against corrosion
  3. Thermoforming :
    • Male / Female Forming
    • The film is heated and blown into the shape of the mould by vacuumed & compressed air
  4. Loading :
    • This can automatically or manually carried out
    • Manually filling of needle, syringe
  5. Sealing :
    • Is done by "Flat Sealing Plate"
    • Flat Profile, regardless of the profile, a perfect seal is achieved by high even pressure at all points of the sealing area uniform temperature, accurate and adjustable temperature control
  6. Cutting :
    • The punch cutting tool is produced from hardened steel and incorporates edge cutting thereby eliminating centre wastage and ensure perfect alignment
  7. Discharge :
    • The finished packs are discharged from the machine on a collector to support the pack during cutting
    • The waste film is automatically collected on other side
  8. Printing :
    • The thermoforming machine can be fitted with Ink Printer
  9. Operation :
    • The design of the thermoforming machine is such that to obtain the best results, it is not necessary to have a skilled technician for its operation
  10. Chilled Water Plant :
    • Thermoforming machine have an inbuilt chilled water plant and a separate unit is not required
